The dilapidated road of Deori Majhgawa area on Kymore-Katni road is a constant cause of trouble for the general public, drivers and passers-by. The risk of accidents has increased due to large potholes on the road and traffic is also being affected. The villagers, angry with the poor condition of the road, staged a unique protest to draw the attention of the administration and concerned departments. The villagers expressed their displeasure by planting saplings in the deep potholes of the road. They said that the demand for road repair has been going on for a long time, but no concrete action has been taken by the responsible department.
 
According to the villagers, these potholes are filled with water during the rainy season, making it difficult to judge their depth, which poses a risk of accidents to two-wheeler and four-wheeler drivers. Local citizens said that several people have been injured, an e-rickshaw overturned today, despite the road was not repaired. The villagers have demanded that the Public Works Department and district administration immediately repair the road and make traffic safe. They warned that if no action is taken soon, then the residents of the region would be forced to stage a massive mass agitation. This unique protest of the villagers has now become a topic of discussion in the area and people are saying it is an attempt to wake up the administration. Kori, Bablu Yadav, Samman Kori, Rajkumar Tiwari, Ramrup Pandey, Harihar Dahiya, Sanjay Kori, Kapil Kol, Ravi Patel, Manoj Patel and Shivanshu Agarwal were present.
