A 50-year-old man was killed and his daughter was injured after their motorcycle crashed into a parked truck near the Katangi Bypass under the jurisdiction of Katangi police station. The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Thakur, son of Bhav Singh Thakur, a resident of Gosalpur. According to police, Rajendra was returning home from Jabalpur on motorcycle MP-20MF-7188 when he rammed into a truck parked on the roadside near Panda Dhaba on the Katangi Bypass.

 

The impact of Man killed, daughter injured... the collision was very severe, leaving Rajendra critically injured. After receiving information, the police’s Dial-112 response team reached the spot and rushed him to the Government Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police said Rajendra's daughter, Akanksha, was also travelling with him and sustained injuries. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway to ascertain the reason behind the accident.
