Actor Sharvari says she is overwhelmed with the response to Main Vaapas Aaunga and hopes the audiences give similar love to her new film Alpha.
In the Imtiaz Ali-directed film, Sharvari played the role of Jiya opposite Vedang Raina's Keenu. Set against the backdrop of Partition, the film has witnessed a remarkable turnaround at the box office purely because of word of mouth and has now crossed Rs 50 crore at the box office.
Sharvari credited Ali for all the love coming her way for her performance in the movie.
"I've honestly been overwhelmed by the love that Main Vaapas Aaunga is receiving from all quarters. As an actor, you dream of being part of stories that connect with people deeply, and seeing audiences appreciate my performance so wholeheartedly is incredibly humbling and deeply fulfilling," she said in a statement.
"I'm grateful to Imtiaz Ali sir for this huge moment in my career, and I feel all the credit for the success of Main Vaapas Aaunga belongs to him.

The actor, who is now set to feature in Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt, hopes her next project receives a positive response from the audience.

Main Vaapas Aaunga and Alpha winning hearts within a period of one month would be a dream come true for me! Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail and is set to release on July 3.
