NAGPUR Municipal Corporation’s Sports Special Committee Chairperson Darshani Dhawad inspected the construction work of state-of-the-artsports complex which is coming up at Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s MorHindi Higher Primary School premises in Ramdaspeth. Dhawad also reviewed the construction work of table tennis court on the Shantiniketan ground in Pratap Nagar, on Thursday. Dhawad instructed concerned officials to complete thework of both the projectswithout compromising with quality and within the stipulated time. Amodernsports complex project will be built at MorHindi Higher PrimarySchool premises in Ramdaspeth. Aspacious airconditionedhall forbasketball,skating,pickleball and badminton courts will be constructed under this project.

 

Apartfromthis,parking, toilets and other modernfacilities will be provided for the convenience of playersand citizens.This projectisbeingdevelopedinamodernmanner with the aim of providing quality facilities to sports enthusiasts in the city. Also,the work of setting up atable tennis court at Shantiniketan ground in Pratap Nagar is in progress.The work of both the places is expected to be completed within the stipulated time. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mangesh Khawale, NMC Sports Officer Dr PiyushAmbulkar,DeputyEngineerGajanan Warade,ExecutiveEngineer Sunil Gajbhiye, Junior Engineer Savita Ganorkar and other officerswerepresent.Duringtheinspection, Dhawad reviewed the progress of the work. Shealso instructed that quality of the work should not be compromised and should be completed within the stipulated time.
