CITY’S promising young cricketer Randitya Singh, who represents SBCT Cricket Club, brought pride to the city by winning the prestigious ‘Man of the Tour (Senior)’ award during the Mumbai Cricket Club Tour to England 2026.
Randitya enjoyed an outstanding all-round tour, finishing with 250 runs and 10 wickets, making him one of the standout performers of the series. His consistent performances with both bat and ball earned him the Man of the Tour (Senior) honour.
The England tour was conducted under the close supervision of former Indian Test cricketer Wasim Jaffer and renowned coach Jwala Singh, who is widely known for mentoring Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. Both Wasim Jaffer and Jwala Singh were personally present throughout the tour, guiding, coaching, and closely monitoring the young cricketers during the
tournament.
A left-handed opening batsman and right-arm leg-spin bowler, Randitya has consistently impressed at different levels of competitive cricket.
He previously represented Vidarbha in the Vijay Merchant Trophy, where he scored an unbeaten 184 runs against Jammu & Kashmir. He has also registered multiple centuries and match-winning performances in domestic and academy cricket, establishing himself as one of Nagpur’s most promising young cricketers.
Randitya expressed his sincere gratitude to SBCT Cricket Club for providing him with a strong foundation and continuous support in his cricketing journey. He thanked his coaches and mentors for their guidance, encouragement, and belief in his
abilities.
