The ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC), in association with Nagpur WICASA, organised a two-day national conference for CA students at Vanamati Auditorium in the city.
The conference witnessed participation of more than 600 CA students from across the country.
The Conference commenced with a welcome address by CA Swaroopa Wazalwar, Chairperson of ICAI Nagpur Branch.
CA Jitendra Saglani, Regional Council Member, WIRC, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of participating in such conferences.
Union Cabinet Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari delivered the keynote address and urged Chartered Accountants to become catalysts for India’s growth.
CA Gyan Chandra Misra, Vice Chairman, Board of Studies (Operations), ICAI, highlighted several student-focused initiatives introduced by ICAI.
Chief guest of the inaugural session Shyam Barve, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), addressed the students and shared valuable insights on integrating ethics, innovation, and technology in professional education.
CA Umesh Sharma, Central Council Member, ICAI; CA Sandeep Jotwani; CA Umang Agrawal; WIRC WICASA Chairman CA Rajesh Agrawal; CA Swapnil Agrawal; CA Pratik Palan, Chairman, Nagpur WICASA, and others were also present. CA Trupti Bhattad proiposed the vote of thanks.
