A 13-year-old boy studying at a madarasa in Jafar Nagar has gone missing and Gittikhadan police have registered a kidnapping case in this connection. According to police, the boy, a resident of Uppalwadi, had joined the madarasa in May for his religious studies.

 

He reportedly went missing under mysterious circumstances on Saturday evening. When the boy did not return and could not be traced despite efforts by his family and others, one of his relatives approached the Gittikhadan Police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, police registered a case of kidnapping and began searching for the missing boy. Officers are examining possible leads and checking CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to trace his whereabouts.
