IN A significant step towards redefining architectural education in India, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) has announced the launch of the Hafeez Contractor School of Architecture, a prestigious new school established in honour of one of India’s most celebrated architects, and Padma Bhushan awardee, Ar. Hafeez Contractor. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suman Devadula, Dean, School of Design said, “The establishment of the Hafeez Contractor School of Architecture is a landmark milestone for MIT-WPU. Hafeez Contractor’s extraordinary contribution to Indian architecture has inspired generations of architects.” Admissions to the five years B.Arch. programme are now open.
