State to have new IT parks

State is steadily advancing in the industrial sector. State-of-the-art IT parks will be developed in Indore and Bhopal. It will be spread in three acres of area on the Indore Super Corridor. This complex will provide world-class office spaces for GCC, IT, and digital service companies. A Semiconductor Centre of Excellence will be established in the State to foster skill development, research, industry collaboration, and capacity building. A new IT tower will also be developed at the Bhopal IT Park, providing additional plug-and-play office spaces to tech companies. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced this at the Tech Growth Conclave 2026. Addressing the MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 held at a private Hotel in the capital, Bhopal, the Chief Minister stated that India has established itself as one of the fastest-growing nations in the world over the last 12 years. Madhya Pradesh’s identity is no longer limited to agriculture, mining, and forest; the state has now developed capabilities ranging from defence and drones to science and technology, renewable energy, and industrial corridors.
 
“We have fulfilled the pledges made over the past two years. During this period, the state received investment proposals worth Rs 46,000 crore; 22 new industrial units were inaugurated, and ground-breaking ceremonies were held for four new projects. Since the Global Investors Summit in 2025, investment proposals worth Rs 12,000 crore in the tech sector have materialised on the ground.” As far as, foreign investment matters, the Chief Minister noted that major companies from Spain, Canada, the UK, Japan, and South Korea have invested over Rs 28,200 crore in Madhya Pradesh through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Spain’s Submer Group is also investing in the state by establishing a 1-gigawatt data centre. An MoU was signed between ‘India Lead for Google Play’ and MPSEDC during the conclave. Additionally, Spain’s Submer Group will invest approximately Rs 200 crore to set up a 1-gigawatt data centre in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister handed over the letter of allotment to them.
