GHRCE receives BIRAC e-YUVA

G H Raisoni College of Engineering (GHRCE), Nagpur, has achieved a significant milestone with the successful signing of the Sub-Grant Agreement (SGA) under the prestigious BIRAC e-YUVA Grant at the BIRAC e-YUVA Centre, GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha, recently. The innovative project titled “IMU Sensor-Based Limb Deformity Measurement and Correction System” has been awarded a Rs 4 lakh BIRAC e-YUVA Grant, comprising Rs 2.5 lakh for project development and Rs 1.5 lakh as fellowship support for student innovators Abhinav Shrivastava, Atharva Bakre, Saloni Dhurawat, Amruta Kasture, and Sharwari Raut.
 
The project addresses a critical healthcare challenge and was conceptualized based on a problem statement provided by Dr Aditya R Bothra of Jainam Joints Avenue Hospital, Nagpur. The project has been developed under BETiC-GHRCE in collaboration with IIT Bombay, under the mentorship of Dr. Vibha Bora. The team received this prestigious opportunity with the constant support and guidance of Dr. Sachin Untawale, Director, GHRCE, and the Dean, Research & Development.
