Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav is set to engage with leading national and international investors, industry representatives, and global brands at the Bharat Tex-2026 expo in New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam on July 16. The visit will focus heavily on one-on-one business meetings, round-table discussions, strategic investment dialogues, and the signing of key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to draw fresh capital into the State’s textile, garment and footwear sectors. The ultimate objective of this participation is to drive new investments, boost employment generation, expand exports, and secure long-term industrial partnerships for the State. Showcasing MP’s ‘Farm to Fashion’ ecosystem: During his visit, Dr Yadav will inspect the dedicated Madhya Pradesh Pavilion at Bharat Mandapam and interact with the media. As per the official information, pavilion is meticulously designed to showcase the state’s progressive industrial policies, robust infrastructure, skill development initiatives, and the upcoming PM Mitra Park in Dhar district to the global business community. The Chief Minister aims to pitch Madhya Pradesh’s unique competitive advantages, highlighting its status as India’s largest producer of organic cotton and its seamless ‘Farm to Fashion’ value chain, which spans from cotton cultivation to spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment manufacturing. Round-Table and Core Industry Dialogues: A key highlight of the visit will be a dedicated round-table discussion where the Chief Minister will deliberate on MP’s textile and apparel ecosystem, export promotion, global competitiveness, logistical capabilities, and sustainable manufacturing.

The session will be addressed by Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh and will see participation from over 100 prominent industrialists and trade body representatives. Notable attendees joining the dialogue include Atul Lall, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Dixon Technologies, Manohara Kumar, CEO of Toppan, Kedar Lele, CEO of Halyeon, and His Excellency Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nobrega, the Ambassador of Brazil to India. Additionally, Dr Yadav will hold exclusive one-on-one sessions with captains of domestic and international firms to discuss production capacity expansion, export growth, and technical collaborations. Multi-Sectoral Pitch and Strategic MoUs: Later in the day, the Chief Minister will address an interactive session themed Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh at hotel The Leela. While textiles will remain the focal point, presentations will also highlight lucrative investment avenues in emerging sectors such as renewable energy and tourism, followed by further one-on-one executive meetings to explore industrial expansion. To formalise these partnerships, the state government is scheduled to sign strategic MoUs with prominent trade bodies, including the Apparel Export Promotion Council, the Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council, and the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, alongside other national and international trade organisations. As a part of this extensive outreach, Dr. Yadav will formally invite global business leaders to participate in the state’s upcoming Global Investors Summit, scheduled for January 2027, urging them to become partners in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial growth journey.
