Nagpur District Badmibnton Association will be conducting Yonex-Sunrise District Badminton Selection Tournament from July 23. The four-day selection tournament will be held at Subhedar Badminton Hall, RTMNU Sports Complex, Ravi Nagar. This tournament is one of the selection tournaments for Under-17, Under-19 and Senior category for Inter-District Badminton Tournament. The last date of entry is July 20. Events in BS U-9, GS U-9, BS U-11, GS U-11, BS U-13, GS U-13, BS U-15, GS U-15, BS U-17, GS U-17, BD U-17, GD U-17, BS U-19, GS U-19, BD U-19, GD U-19, Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, MS 35+, WS 35+, XD 35+, MD 35+, WD 35+, MS 45+, MD 45+, MS 55+, MD 55+, MS 60+ and MD 60+ will be held. Fees for U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 and senior category is Rs 1,000 and for doubles is Rs 2,000. For veterans’ category; the entry fee for singles is Rs 600 and for doubles is Rs 200. Cash prizes worth Rs 1,50,000 will be distributed among the winners along with mementoes and certificates. A player can participate in maximum any three events.
