TAKING serious note of complaints alleging fraud with consumers in the name of CNG supply, Jabalpur district administration has constituted separate
teams to inspect six CNG pumps
across the district.
According to an order issued
by the Complaint Branch of the
Collectorate, factual verification
will be conducted at six CNG stations operated by Indian Oil
Corporation Limited (IOCL),
Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Limited (HPCL),
and Bharat Petroleum
Corporation Limited (BPCL) at
different locations in the district.
The inspection teams include
the concerned area Tehsildar,
officials from District Supply
Department and sales officers of
the respective oil companies.
The
CNG pumps covered under the
inquiry include IOCL CBG Pump,
Ranjhi, HPCL Pump, Vijay Nagar,
BPCL Pump, Maharajpur, HPCL
Pump, Andhmookh Bypass,
HPCL Pump, Tilwara and BPCL
Pump, Tewar.
Officials have also examined
CBG-related issues at BPCL
Tewar and HP Ghona pump as
part of the investigation.
The inquiry teams have been
directed by the Additional
Collector to conduct a detailed
investigation into all points mentioned in the complaints and
submit their reports with clear
findings and recommendations
within three days.
The administration has initiated the probe to verify the allegations and ensure consumer
interests are protected.
