The notorious “Anna Gang” has struck again in Nagpur. Two cars were targeted within five minutes in the busy Sitabuldi area and laptop bags were stolen after the windows were smashed. The incidents took place on Tuesday evening. In the first case, Bhushan Dudhe, a resident of Aradhana Nagar, had come to Sitabuldi for a meeting with his senior colleague. He parked his car near Dhiren Kanya School at Jhansi Rani Square around 6 pm. Within a short time, thieves broke the car window and stole a laptop bag.

The bag contained around Rs 80,000 in cash, a laptop, his daughter’s caste certificate and other important documents. Just five minutes later, another car was targeted near the Bata showroom at Variety Square. The victim was Vipin Sharma, a resident of Manish Nagar and manager of a private company. The accused smashed the window of his car and escaped with a laptop bag and a laptop. After receiving information, Sitabuldi Police reached both spots and started an investigation. Police checked CCTV cameras installed near the crime scenes.

The footage showed a suspect moving around parked vehicles before choosing his targets. The accused allegedly waited for the owners to leave before breaking the windows and stealing the bags. Police believe the same gang is behind both thefts. The “Anna Gang” has been involved in several similar crimes in Nagpur in the past. Police records show that the gang has broken into at least five to six vehicles in different police station areas using the same method. The latest incidents have again raised concerns among vehicle owners.
