A GRAND Investiture Ceremony and Prize Distribution Ceremony were held at Shri Mahavir Jain Vidyalaya, Shikshak Nagar, Durg, under the guidance and supervision of the School Head Sonali Patra. The Chief Guest for the event was Ashutosh Chavre, a retired Deputy Director from Education Department. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana. School Chairman Manish Parekh and Manoj Jain warmly welcomed the Chief Guest. In his address, Manoj Jain encouraged the newly elected Student Council to discharge their duties with dedication and to always uphold the dignity of the school. During the Investiture Ceremony, the office-bearers of the newly formed Student Council were administered the oath of office and secrecy, and were presented with badges and sashes.

 

The students pledged to fulfill their responsibilities with complete dedication and discipline. Subsequently, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was held to honor students who had excelled in academics, sports, cultural events, and co-curricular activities. In his address, Chief guest Ashutosh Chavre, urged the students to make discipline, honesty, hard work, and service to the nation the foundation of their lives. At the conclusion of the ceremony, School Head Sonali Patra proposed a vote of thanks and expressed confidence that the newly elected Student Council would carry forward the school’s traditions. Members of the School Management Committee, teachers, parents, and a large number of students were present at the event.
