“Education that preserves Indian culture, values, and patriotism is required for making India achieve its intrinsic glory. The mission of Vidya Bharti is not merely limited to running schools, but is a broader social awakening initiative aimed at nurturing cultured, character-driven, and nationalistic citizens,” asserted Shailesh Joshi, Organising Secretary of Vidya Bharti for the Vidarbha and Devagiri prant, while speaking at the introductory training meet, recently. Speaking further, he emphasised that education rooted in Indian values fosters social harmony, national integration, and character-building.
 
On the onset, dignitaries lit the traditional lighting of the lamp and sung Saraswati Vandana. Sachin Joshi, President of Vidya Bharti Vidarbha Province, Vitthalrao Kharode, President of Vidya Bharti Akola District, and Mangesh Wankhade, President of Vidya Bharti Akola Metropolitan unit were chiefly present on the occasion. Girish Kanade, in his introductory remarks, outlined the expansion of Vidya Bharti’s initiatives, its core objectives, and the underlying purpose of organising the introductory training meet. Dr Vikram Joshi welcomed the attendees. On this occasion, Province President Sachin Joshi officially announced the newly appointed executive committees for both the Akola District and Akola Metropolitan units. In the first session, Organising Secretary Shailesh Joshi guided the newly appointed executive committee members on sense of Responsibility while in the second session, Sameer Thodge and Province President Sachin Joshi addressed educators on ‘The Role of Teachers in Vidya Bharti’s Mission.’ Yogesh Mallekar conducted the programme while Vitthal Kharode and Mangesh Wankhade proposed a vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the traditional Shanti Mantra.
