“IT IS a big opportunity for the district to host the Akhil Bharatiya Swasthya Aayam Prashikshan Vargunder the auspices of Mahakoshal Seva Bharti, on July 25 and 26. Total 100 representatives and volunteers across the country will attend the camp with the objective of providing accessible and quality healthcare to the needy people,” informed Dr Sanjay Khanna, President, Seva Bharti Mahakoshal while addressing a press conference, on Thursday. Addressing a press conference, Dr Anurag Soni informed that this will be the first time when Jabalpur will host a national level training programme and termed it a significant event for strengthening healthcare services and organisational activities. Dr Khanna further highlighted the growing reach of Seva Bharati’s healthcare initiatives with 6,021 health service projects are currently being run across the country with the objective of providing accessible and quality healthcare to the last person in society.
 
According to the organisers, the nationwide network includes 3,728 Arogya Mitras working across 18 states to strengthen healthcare delivery in rural areas. Other healthcare initiatives include 472 mobile dispensaries, 445 permanent mini outpatient clinics (OPDs), 392 hospitals, 235 health education and awareness centres, 232 yoga education centres, 152 ambulance services, 138 patient assistance centres, 103 generic medicine centres, 60 neurotherapy, physiotherapy and yoga therapy centres, 17 blood banks, 18 large residential hospitals, 12 naturopathy centres, eight leprosy care centres, seven centres for persons with disabilities and two de-addiction centres. During the press conference, Seva Bharti’s Atmaram Dixit, Brijbhushan and Vivek Agrawal were present.
