MOHAMMAD Asjad and Mohammed Ibrahim struck in quick succession as MM Rabbani School, Kamptee blanked Bhonsala Military School 2-0 in the first quarter-final of the Subroto Cup Football Tournament in the Rural Boys Under-15 age category at SFS College ground at Seminary Hills, on Friday. Rabbani along with DPS Mihan, Bhavan’s Ashti and DPS Kamptee won their respective quarter-final ties to storm into the semi-finals.

 

Rabbani showcased professional ball control to dominate the possession. In the 15th minute, Jamal passed the ball towards Ibrahim at the top of the D from left which Ibrahim smashed into the bottom right corner of the net to make it 1-0 for Rabbani.Asjad then received the ball from Areeb in the similar fashion and converted it to make it 2-0 at the 19th minute.
