FULFILLING a long-standing demand of local residents and enhancing passenger convenience, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will officially flag off the newly-approved stoppage of Train No. 12919 Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Malwa Express at Nishatpura Railway Station on Tuesday at 5:00 pm. During the event, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the stoppage of Train No. 11463/11464 Jabalpur–Veraval Somnath Express at the same station. The inclusion of these halts will grant commuters in Nishatpura and surrounding localities direct access to longdistance train services right from their neighbourhood.

Easing pressure on major terminals: Highlighting the operational benefits, Senior DCM Saurabh Katariya stated that the new stoppages will particularly benefit passengers residing in the northern and eastern parts of Bhopal. Furthermore, the move is expected to partially de-congest traffic and passenger load at the city’s primary hubs, Bhopal Junction and Rani Kamalapati stations, offering seamless connectivity for religious, tourism, and business travel. The inaugural ceremony will witness the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishvas Sarang, Minister of State Krishna Gaur, and Bhopal MP Alok Sharma, alongside local MLAs and senior railway officials.
