ON THE occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Jabalpur City, organised a grand student gathering centered around youth and Gen Z on Monday. A large number of students enthusiastically participated in the event, performing Bharat Mata Aarti and collectively singing ‘Vande Mataram’ to express their dedication and respect toward the nation. Addressing the gathering, ABVP Mahakoshal State Secretary Suvrat Bajhal Jain highlighted that India’s youth are not just the country’s future, but its greatest present strength. He noted that despite recent negative narratives and misconceptions surrounding Gen Z on social media and other platforms, as well as efforts by certain leftist-influenced groups to mislead students using local issues, Indian youth remain discerning and steadfast.

 

ABVP reiterated that today’s youth are deeply committed to the nation’s culture, democratic values and national unity. The organisation emphasised that Kargil Vijay Diwas is not merely a commemoration of historical victory, but a moment to reaffirm individual duties toward national development. Through this event, ABVP aimed to send a clear message that India’s Gen Z is aware, patriotic, and dedicated to building a self-reliant and strong nation. The event was proudly attended by ABVP City Secretary Aryan Punj, Central Working Committee member Makhan Sharma, Aishwarya Sonkar, Anmol Sonkar, Shobhit Mishra, Akshat Tamrakar, Samarth Singh Thakur, Ojaswi Pandey, Divya Solanki, Prashant Sharma, Shivam Upadhyay and many other youth representatives from across the city.
