SAINT Francis de Sales,Sadar (SFS) boys were accurate from the spot as they beat CentrePoint School, Dabha (CPS) 4-2 in shoot-out after the match ended in the 0-0 stalemate after regulation time to move up into the semi-finals of the District-Level Subroto Mukherjee Inter-School Football Tournament in Under-15 NMC Boys category at theSFS College ground on Monday. Lokansh, SuyashThakur,KushNayak and AustinLakrascoredforSFS,whileCPS’Daksh Ganatraand Raghav Nege found the back of the net. Lokansh Chawrewas the most valuable player for SFS as the captain showcased shot from the spot for agoal and also woregloves to savetwo penalty shots from the boots of Atharva Bhagwat and Akhilesh Gwalbansi.

 

The match until the regulation time saw aproper 50/50 effort by both side to scorer and defend goals.Akhilesh Gwalbansi played as aproper stopper for CPS, while Raghav Negi showcased good passing via combination. In another quarter-final, Narayana Vidyalayam edged pastAnjuman Urdu High School 4-3 in shoot-out as the match ended in a0-0 tie.Swaraj Telrabda, SwayamKhedikar,AryanPateyandNihalBole managed to covert their spot kicks.Mohd Eteshyam and Abdul Menon scored for Anjuman. In the regulation time,Eteshyam at the midfield, saved many Narayana attempts in defence,while Amir Sheikh was dominating the attack like for Anjuman.
