Quick thinking on part of Fire Brigade of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) led to successful rescue operation in Narendra Nagar, where tiny tots were caught in the floods. The personnel of Fire Brigade deployed a excavator to pull out the students as they could not reach the school premises.

 

So the firemen commanded a excavator and moved it to the school building and the children climbed atop the front loader and were carried out safely to the road outside. The excavator made several trips into the school premises to bring out the stranded children. For children it was new experience of getting a ride atop a excavator. The video of the rescue operation went viral on social media.
