ACTRESS Sana Saeed has opened up about her struggles with accent and communication during her time in the United States. She shared how her experience pushed her to work on being more clearly understood. Reflecting on her journey, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress revealed the challenges she faced while adapting to a new environment and language style.

 

She also spoke about how these experiences shaped her perspective. For her, being “heard” became an important part of effective communication. Sana said she trained to modify her accent after moving to Los Angeles in 2016 because she wanted to be clearly understood, calling it "like learning a new language." Responding to criticism over her accent, she stressed that changing the way one speaks is about effective communication, not rejecting one's roots, adding that her original accent returns the moment she speaks to her mother.
