AHEAD of the monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr Charan Das Mahant paid a courtesy call on Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr Raman Singh at Speaker House in the state capital on Tuesday. Discussions regarding various parliamentary matters, including the smooth and effective conduct of the upcoming monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly were held during the meeting. Additionally, potential candidates for the 'Outstanding Legislator Award' for the year 2026 were deliberated upon.

 

Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh wrote on his X, “Today a meeting took place with the Chief Minister and the Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at Speaker House in Raipur city today. A meaningful discussion took place during this meeting regarding various parliamentary matters, including the smooth and effective conduct of the upcoming monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Additionally, potential candidates for the 'Outstanding Legislator Award' for the year 2026 were deliberated upon.” It may be mentioned that the monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly will be held from July 13 to 17.
