A GRAND Kanwar Yatra from Jabalpur to the holy city of Ujjain started during the holy month of Shravan. The yatra has been organised for the good health, prosperity and well being of the residents of Sanskardhani. The devotees started the pilgrimage from Tilwaraghat at 8 am after taking a pledge. They will march on foot and carry holy water to offer at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain.

 

The yatra is being led by Corporator Jeetu Katare. Lakhan Prajapati, Dinesh Mahawar, Pinky, Nitin Chakravarti, Akshay Baba, Surendra Chakravarti and several local residents joined the Yatra. The yatra received a grand welcome at Andhmukh Bypass. Rose petals were showered on devotees to mark the occasion. A large number of traders, women and local residents gathered along the route to welcome the Kanwariyas and seek blessings.
