SUMAN Tiwari of Nagpur created history by becoming the first athlete from Central India to win an individual HYROX event, securing first place in the Women’s Pro 55–59 age category at HYROX Delhi 2026. Her outstanding performance has also earned her qualification for the prestigious HYROX World Championship, where she will compete against some of the world’s best fitness racing athletes.
 
HYROX is one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness racing competitions, combining endurance running with functional fitness challenges. Athletes complete eight 1-kilometre runs, each followed by a workout station featuring exercises such as sled pushes, sled pulls, rowing, burpee broad jumps, farmer’s carries, sandbag lunges and wall balls. Competing in the highly challenging pro division, 59-yearold Suman delivered an exceptional performance to secure victory in her category.
