In a landmark intersection of civilisation, culture and cutting-edge technology, the 3rd BRICS Meeting placed India’s extraordinary civilisational knowledge and heritage in the global spotlight, showcasing how Artificial Intelligence can transform the way centuries-old manuscripts, traditions and intellectual achievements are preserved, explored and experienced by the world. Bringing together ministers and leaders from 14 countries, including 10 BRICS Member States and 4 Partner Countries, the international forum provided a distinguished platform for leaders and policymakers to explore the evolving relationship between technology, cultural heritage and the future of global knowledge exchange.

 

Senior Ministers and Leaders from Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia, along with representatives from partner countries, witnessed an AI-powered demonstration by ImmverseAI’s BharatiyaGPT focused on how AI can unlock the embedded wisdom in the few millennia old foundational texts. At the heart of the showcase was BharatiyaGPT, powered by ImmverseAI, an initiative demonstrating a new possibility for civilisational knowledge in the digital age: moving from simply preserving historical knowledge to making it intelligent, discoverable and interactive. A defining moment of the international BRICS Leaders was the live demonstration of BharatiyaGPT by ImmverseAI CEO & Co-founder, R Ramakrishnan, where these global leaders interacted with a 2600-year-old Shusruta Samhita and how precision surgeries were conducted in ancient India, some Leaders talked to Bhaskar Acharya’s 12 th century treatise the Lilavati to understand how Bhaskar Acharya taught her daughter Lilavati, concepts of algebra with the help of real-life example like Arjun’s dilemma of how many arrows and in which direction he has to position these arrows to slay Karna, all this explained with the powerful and proprietary technology of ‘Talk to Manuscript’ built by BharatiyaGPT. BRICS Leaders spent lot of time interacting with these Manuscripts with curiosity and appreciation.

 

The demonstration offered an extraordinary glimpse into how Artificial Intelligence can reshape humanity’s relationship with historical knowledge.
