Real Prayer

Prayer is not about asking for things. A prayer should never be a deal between you ad the Almighty. Many people pray only when they want something and forget about prayer once their wish is fulfilled. But that is not real prayer. Real prayer begins when we stop thinking only about ourselves and start thinking about others. We should pray not just for our own homes and happiness, but also for those who have nothing. We should remember the poor, the weak, those who live in fear, the sick, the lonely, and those who have lost hope. True prayer does not stop at our own door; it reaches out to the whole world.

Prayer should also make us better people. When we close our eyes to pray, we should ask ourselves: Am I doing what is right? Am I being fair to others? Am I helping people, or am I thinking only about myself? If prayer can stop us from doing wrong, then it is truly working. It should not be just a habit or a ritual. It should change the way we live. The best prayer is not the one that asks for blessings, but the one that wishes blessings for others. When we pray with kindness and compassion in our hearts, we become better human beings, and that is the greatest blessing of all.
