RAIPUR :
THOUSANDS of members of the
Dawoodi Bohra community are
expected to gather at Raipur
International Airport on Monday
to welcome His Holiness Syedna
Mufaddal Saifuddin, the 53rd
leader of the global Dawoodi
Bohra community, on his visit to
the city after a decade.
During his stay, Syedna
Saifuddin will interact with community members and provide
guidance on matters of faith and
social responsibility. He is also
expected to inaugurate the newly constructed mosque
at Amanaka.
“This is His Holiness’s first visit to Raipur in ten years,
and the anticipation among families here has been extraordinary,” said Idrees Haidery, Dawoodi Bohra coordinator in Raipur.
He added that the opportunity for children
and younger members of the community to meet Syedna
in Raipur would be a memorable experience for them.
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin regularly visits Dawoodi
Bohra communities across India and abroad. Such visits
provide an opportunity for direct interaction with community members and often encourage local initiatives in
education, social responsibility, economic wellbeing and
service to society. Raipur is home to more than 400
Dawoodi Bohra families, whose members are engaged in
various sectors, including hardware, agricultural equipment, printing and textiles.
