TEAMS from Delhi Public School MIHAN and Kamptee Road branches made it to the finals of the fifth edition of Pro Vice Chairperson’s CupInterschool Futsal Tournament, organised by Delhi Public School, MIHAN. In the Under-17 semi-finals, DPS Kamptee Road defeated St John’sHigh School 2-0 with with Shashank Singh and Ranvijay Yadav scoring agoal each. In thesecond semi-final, DPS Mihan secured anarrow 1-0 victoryoverMKH Sancheti School. Ketanu scored the decisivegoal. In Under-17 girls,DPS Lava beat DPS Kamptee 3-0 to make it to summitclash against DPS Mihan. DPS Lavadefeated DPS Kamptee Road 3-0. Anaisha Chatterjee,AryaThakreand Vishwashree scored agoal each. Inthe second semis,DPSMihan got thebetterofJainInternational School3-2.AdyaAkudkar,Saanvi Chaurasia and AradhyaSinha were the goal getters.

 

InU-12boyssemis,BVM,Ashti defeated St BTConvent 5-0 with Dakshit Satpute,Sankalp Temburne,Akshar Sawai and Riyan Sharma finding the net. Satpute,Akshar and Sharma scored once each, while Temburne scored twice. In the second semi-final, Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar defeated CentrePoint School International 2-1. RiyanSharma and Dakshit Satpute scored for Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar,while Aaron Missal scored for Centre Point School International. InUnder-14boyslast fourbattle,Bhavan’sTrimurtiNagarbeat St John’s High School 2–0 in the penaltyshoot-out tobookaplace in the final.Thesecondsemi-final saw DPSMihan defeat DPS Lava 3-1. Daksh Yadav,Videsh Swaminathan and Raghav Patil scored one goal each for DPS Mihan, taking the hosts into the final.
