Staff Reporter :
IN A major enforcement operation on Wednesday, a Health
Department team conducted a
surprise inspection and sealed
Path Care Diagnostic Center,
located on Madan Mahal Station
Road, on Wednesday.
The action was executed under
the direct instructions of
Collector Raghavendra Singh and
the guidance of Chief Medical and
Health Officer (CMHO) Dr
Naveen Kothari. The inspection
uncovered severe regulatory
non-compliance, revealing that
the laboratory’s official
Government registration had
expired in March 2026.
Despite operating without a
valid license for several months,
the centre continued its operations uninterrupted. The inspection panel comprised Blood Bank
In-charge, Dr Amita Jain, Dr
Ratnesh Namdeo, Dr Tushar
Gupta, District Media Officer Ajay
Kuril and Vikas Srivastava.
During the raid, staff members
on duty identified as Lab Head
Lucky Singh, Technician Aarti
Nema and Sales Manager Anil
Gupta were unable to produce
the required academic certificates or professional qualification credentials on site.
The team contacted the designated pathologist, Dr Amita
Trivedi, directing her to report
to the premises, however, she
failed to appear before the
inspecting authorities. Due to
the complete absence of valid
operational permits and verifiable staff credentials, the team
took immediate action to seal
the facility.
Following the closure, the
administrative team issued a
strict directive requiring the
management to submit all
authentic operational and
qualification documents to the
CMHO office within a threeday deadline. This decisive
action against an unregistered
facility operating without certified doctors present has triggered widespread concern
among other unauthorised
medical and diagnostic establishments across the city
