Nagpur’s Orange City Photographers Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary and World Photography Day by hosting its 30th annual photography competition and exhibition. The event will take place from August 16 to 19, at the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Civil Lines. The competition features three distinct categories: ‘Wildlife and Nature’, ‘Travel, Street and Event’, and ‘Mobile Photography’, offering total prizes worth Rs 1.35 lakh. The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 16 at 11 am by MLA Abhijit Wanjari. The closing ceremony and prize distribution will be on August 19 at 6 pm, featuring MLA Vikas Thakre as the chief guest. Open to the public daily from 11 am to 8 pm, the event also includes expert-led workshops.
