ASSOCHAM has formed its Vidarbha chapter as a special case of two chapters in one state which will be headed by Chemical Engineer, Senior Enterprenuer and industrialist Madhav Labhe while Management expert, Enterprenuer and LIT University’s Principal Advisor Dr Mohan Pande will be the Co-Chairman of the chapter. ASSOCHAM is an oldest apex trade association of India, representing over 4.5 lakh members including MSMEs, large corporations, and startups. Founded in 1920 (headquarter in New Delhi), it acts as a primary bridge between the business community and the Government to shape economic policy.

 

On the occasion of announcement of the Vidarbha Chapter, a talk by senior food technologist Ajay Deshpande was organised on “Emerging opportunities in Fisheries Industry in Vidarbha” wherein he effectively explained how tremendous potential of Fisheries Industry exists here which can elevate GDP of India if hindering issues are addressed properly. Milind Hardikar Chairman ASSOCHAM, Maharashtra welcomed the new office-bearers and addressed the gathering through video conferencing. ASSOCHAM Maharashtra team including Ankita Naik, Robin, Rahul Sigh attended the meeting through Video Conferencing. ASSOCHAM working committee member Utkarsh Khopkar, Sanjay Kholapurkar, Pankaj Mahajan, Mohan Pashupati, Chinmay Garway, Ravi Singh, Vaibhav Deshpande, Dr Datta Garway, Harishankar Sigh, Punit Kulkarni, Ishan Labhe, Afsar Shaikh, Girish Deodhar were present on the occasion.
