THOUSANDS of devotees visited Shiva temples across Sanskardhani on the third Somvar of the holy month of Shravan. Long queues were seen at main temples from early morning as devotees gathered for Jalabhishek and prayers. People offered water, milk, bel leaves, dhatura and flowers to the Shivling. Many observed fasts and prayed for peace, prosperity and the well-being of their families. Special Rudrabhishek and other religious rituals were held at several temples throughout the day. Special decoration of Lord Shiva was done at Gupteshwar Mahadev Temple.

Heavy crowds were also seen at the ancient Gaurinath Mahadev Temple, where Kanwariyas carrying holy Narmada water performed Jalabhishek amid chants of "Har Har Mahadev." Thousands of devotees also offered flags at the Maa Sharda Devi Temple in Madan Mahal and other temples as part of the traditional Shravan observance. A grand fair was held on the Madan Mahal hills, where devotees and families gathered in large numbers. The entire city remained immersed in devotion and festive spirit throughout the day.
