He told her that he too had received a similar email demanding Rs 10 lakh. The father and daughter approached Pratap Nagar Police Station on Tuesday morning. They lodged a complaint about the threats. Pratap Nagar police have started the process of registering a case. The complaint has also been forwarded to Cyber Police. Cyber Police have launched an investigation. They are trying to trace the sender of emails. The use of Bishnoi gang’s name has raised concern in Nagpur. The gang has been linked to extortion threats against prominent people, including politicians and actors, in different parts of the country.
