The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM, Nagpur) will felicitate Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Solar Group of Industries, in recognition of his being conferred the prestigious Padma Shri by the Government of India. The felicitation ceremony will be held on August 19 at 5:30 pm at IIM Nagpur, with Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur, felicitating Nuwal. The Padma Shri recognises Shri Nuwal’s distinguished contribution to trade and industry. His journey from humble beginnings to building a leading Indian enterprise reflects perseverance, entrepreneurship and leadership, making his achievements an inspiring example for the young generation of management students. The felicitation is being organised as an institutional gesture by IIM Nagpur to celebrate the national honour bestowed upon Nuwal and to acknowledge his contribution to Indian industry and nation-building. The programme will be attended by the students, faculty and staff of IIM Nagpur. Following the formal felicitation, Nuwal will address the IIM Nagpur community and share insights from his entrepreneurial journey.
