Tree plantation drive under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam held

The Rotary Club of Nagpur Fort and Techops Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., jointly organised a tree plantation drive under the national campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” recently. The drive was conducted with the active participation of Pitale Shastri Vidyalaya, Mahatma Gandhi High School, Adarsha Sanskar Vidyalaya, Adarsha Institute of Pharmacy, and Prerna International School. Around 250 students enthusiastically participated in the initiative and planted 1,000 indigenous saplings, including Amaltas, Arjun, Behada, Bakul, Kusum, Karanj, Kanchan, Putrajeeva, Shirish, Sissoo, Teakoma, and Wild Almond. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Parag Sontakke (Pitale Shastri Vidyalaya), Rtn. Ram Nakkanwar (President, Rotary Club of Nagpur Fort), PP Suresh Baiswar, Dr Dudhe, Principal, Adarsha Institute of Pharmacy, PP Jayant Warankar, and Dimple Sakhare, Principal, Prerna International School, highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and encouraged students to protect nature. Directors of Techops Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.—Ishan Barai, Shival Dakhale, Jeevan Ghime, Vilas Harade, Anil Kale, Rajendra Nakade, and Ravindra Barai—were prominently present.
 
They extended full support to the event and distributed food packets to the participants. Rtn. Dr Saroj Desai, Director – Environment and Project Coordinator, conducted the proceedings of the functionwhile guests were felicitated by Rtn. Vaishali Barai. PP Rtn. Meenakshi Desai proposed the formal vote of thanks. Among the Rotarians present were Secretary Sandhya Girdhar, Vibha Nakkanwar, Devyani Tak, Group Captain Anil Ambatkar, Bhaskar Girdhar, PP Madhav Kukday, Anuradha Kukday, Captain Devikant Naranje, Jayant Vyas, Pratibha Waghmare, Dr Pradyna Ambatkar, and Sushma Baiswar. The plantation drive reflected the shared commitment of Techops Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Rotary Club of Nagpur Fort, educational institutions, and students towards environmental sustainability and creating a greener future.
