THE duo of Abhinav Khadgi and
Aman Kanojiya excelled in the
State Panel Umpire Exam 2026
conducted by the Vidarbha
Cricket Association (VCA)
recently.
From a total of 150 marks
(Theory - 75 marks, Video - 25
marks, Viva - 25 marks and
Practical - 25 marks), the cut-off
for passing the exam was 130.
Practical exams was followed by
written test.
While Khadgi topped the examwith 140 marks, Kanojiya
emerged second with 137.5
marks.
As may as 58 candidates
appeared for the test but only 12
could clear it.
Prior to the test, Vineet
Kulkarni, ex-ICC International
Umpire and Current BCCI
Umpire, and Abhijeet
Deshmukh, current BCCI
Umpire, took the classes.
