The silken thread of Rakhi
Fills my heart with a longing 
For my beloved brother
And then tears start flowing.
Memories of childhood days
Fill my eyes with emotions
We fought, we struggled
But love was deeper than oceans. 
Today, he is in a distant land 
But this thread will reach him 
And this relationship will
grow stronger
Joy it would bring forever.
