ADMINISTRATIVE preparations
have been intensified ahead of
Union Defence Minister Rajnath
Singh’s proposed visit to Jabalpur
on August 27. A high-level review
meeting was held at Dumna
Airport under the chairmanship
of Collector Raghavendra Singh
to assess arrangements for the
visit on Tuesday. Superintendent
of Police Sampat Upadhyay,
along with senior officials from
the National Security Guard
(NSG), Airport Authority and
Vehicle Factory Jabalpur (VFJ),
attended the meeting.
During the meeting, officials
discussed in detail the Defence
Minister’s arrival arrangements,
VIP movement and carcade management, security protocols and
the programme scheduled to be
held at VFJ.
The officials reviewed various
aspects of co-ordination
between the district administration, police, security agencies, airport authorities and
VFJ to ensure smooth conduct
of the visit.
The Collector directed officials to ensure that all necessary security and administrative arrangements are completed in advance and that
there is effective coordination
among all agencies involved.
The meeting focused on
ensuring adherence to prescribed security standards and
making comprehensive
arrangements for the Defence
Minister’s VIP visit and the programmes scheduled during his
stay in Jabalpur.
