NAGPUR Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised a full-day seminar on Tax Audit, which was attended by more than 200 Chartered Accountants, including several senior members of the profession.
CA Swaroopa Wazalwar, Chairperson, Nagpur Branch of ICAI, highlighted the importance of accurate and comprehensive reporting in Tax Audit Reports to safeguard the professional interests of CAs.
She also apprised members of the various initiatives and programmes planned by the Branch. CA Deepak Jethwani, Vice Chairman, coordinated the inaugural session, while CA Vinod Agrawal, Treasurer, proposed the vote of thanks.
The first session on “AI in Tax Audit” was conducted by CA Varun Dhotre, Pune.
The session was coordinated by CA Vinod Agrawal and chaired by CA Sandeep Jotwani, Past Chairman, Nagpur Branch.
The second session was conducted by CA Sunil Garg, Delhi, who dealt with the legal and practical aspects of clause-wise Tax Audit Report reporting and discussed provisions of I-T Act.
