Lions Club Nagpur Seven Star held its installation ceremony on Tuesday at Fortune Regal Banquet Hall, Sitabuldi, with District Governor Vilas Sakhare taking oath of the new office-bearers for 2026-27. The programme was presided over by former District Governor Dr Raje Mudhoji Bhosale. Dr Shantidas Lunge took charge as president, Dr Ajay Sawarkar as secretary and Narendra Maturkar as treasurer.

 

Former president Sumit Sinha delivered the welcome address, while the former secretary and treasurer presented the annual report. Region Chairperson-8 Lion Dr Ravindra Husukle administered the Lions initiation pledge to new members Rajkumar Mane, Kanchan Mane, Sunil Vanjari and Pramodini Vanjari. Lunge pledged to undertake humanitarian service through the Lions Club. Zone Chairperson-3 Lion Brijratan Lakhotia delivered the concluding address. The programme was conducted by Lion Sadhana Rakshamwar and Lion Dr Seema Dua, while Dr Ajay Sawarkar proposed a vote of thanks.
