NAGPUR players brought laurels to the city by performing brilliantlyand winningatotal of nine medals in the State-Level Mini Fencing Competition that was held in Parbhani district recently. The medal winners in the Under-10 categorywereShreya Mathanikar(foil),VaidehiBankar (foil), Tanishka Sonar (epee), Bhuvi Thune (sabre) and in the Under-12 categorywere Rudransh Uikey (epee),Rudraksh Bedwal (foil), KavyaShirke (epee), Vihana Surkar(foil), andAnyaMane (sabre).All the players won bronze medals. All the players credited their success to parents and their coaches,Rahul Mandavkar, Sagar Bhagat and Aavesh Somkuwar. Nagpur District FencingAssociation President Ajay Sontakke, Secretary Mohammed Shoeb and Treasurer Suresh Hazare congratulated the players on their success.
