DR RAJEEV Choudhary, Professor of Physical Education at Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur is selected for the prestigious National Award to Teachers 2026 by the Government of India. The prestigious national honour will be conferred by President of India Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of Teachers’ Day in a programme to be organised at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on September 5. Dr Choudhary’s name figures among the 21 exemplary teachers and faculty members from higher education institutions and polytechnics selected for the National Awards to Teachers 2026. He has been recognised in the field of Physical Education and Yoga Education for his significant contribution to teaching, research, innovation, outreach and academic development. Professor Dr Rajeev Choudhary has made significant contributions to the fields of Physical Education, Yoga, Research and Innovation, Teaching-Learning, Sports Development and Student Welfare.

 

His academic contributions include extensive research and publications, supervision of research scholars, participation in national and international academic activities and promotion of innovative approaches in Physical Education and Yoga Education.
