UNION Minister of State for
Housing and Urban Affairs and
Bilapur Lok Sabha Member
Tokhan Sahu flagged off the
Bilaspur-Yelahanka weekly regular train service at a function
held at Bilaspur Railway Station.
Speaking on the occasion, he
stated that the regular
operation of this train service
would make travel between
Bilaspur and Bengaluru, a
key city in South India, much
more convenient.
Sahu stated that passengers
from the Bilaspur Lok Sabha
constituency had long been
demanding the regularisation
of this rail service. Keeping the
needs of the local residents in
mind, continuous efforts were
made in this regard, and as a
result, the service will now operate on a regular basis.

Minister Narendra Modi and
Union Minister of Railways
Ashwini Vaishnaw for this
important railway facility.
He
stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi, railway infrastructure and
passenger amenities are continuously expanding across the
country, and Chhattisgarh is also reaping the benefits of
this. According to the Railways, the Bilaspur-Yelahanka
weekly train (Train No 18261) will depart from Bilaspur at
2:00 PM every Wednesday and reach Yelahanka at 7:00 PM
the following day. On the return journey, the YelahankaBilaspur weekly train (Train No 18262) will depart from
Yelahanka at 9:30 pm every Thursday. This rail service will
operate via various important stations, including Bhatapara,
Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Gondia,
Balharshah, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Raichur, Guntakal,
Anantapur, Dharmavaram, and Hindupur. The Union
Minister of State stated that efforts to expand and improve
rail facilities, prioritizing public interest and the needs of
