“RECENT youth-led demonstrations at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar have ignited widespread concern among parents regarding the behavioral direction and moral orientation of Generation Z. Disturbed by scenes of public friction and confrontation at the protest site, numerous families are seeking avenues to reinforce cultural values, discipline and ethical foundations in their children. Hence, the Nimai Pathshala which is going to be organised in the city with the objective to connect younger generations with Vedic wisdom, human values and classical Indian traditions. The traditional value education serves as a stabiliing force amid rapidly shifting social environments”, shared Dr Sudhanshu Gupta, President, Sanskar Seva Utsav Samiti, Jabalpur. Dr Gupta was addressing a press conference called on Wednesday to inform about three major events to be organised in Jabalpour city dedicated to culture, tradition and social values. These programmes will to connect Jabalpur residents with spiritual, cultural and social heritages.

 

The first event will be Nimai Pathshala to be organised on August 30 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Dadda Parisar, Madan Mahal road. The event will be organised by Renuka Guswamiji to connect the children with culture, heritage and Indian values and transform them into responsible and culturally rooted citizens. The second event will be of ‘Matki Phod Utsav’ at Malviya Chowk on September 6, from 9 pm. It will be a grand festival celebrating the traditions of Janmashtami and the divine childhood acts (leela) of Lord Krishna. And finally, the ‘Pratham Darshan’ of Sanskardhani Ke Maharaja will be organised on September 14, at Malviya Chowk, Jabalpur to mark the commencement of the Ganesh Utsav festival. Dr Gupta added that the initiative aims to strengthen religious faith, preserve regional festive traditions, and promote social cohesion across all sections of the city. Other senior members of the Samiti present included Vivek Dubey, Sadani, Saurabh Jain and other dignitaries, who invited all the people to attend and support these public celebrations.
