The National Pension System (NPS) provides citizens with an accessible, flexible and systematic avenue for retirement planning and long-term financial security, with the power of compounding,” said Dr Vijay Sirsath, Director, MSME Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Nagpur, on Wednesday. He was speaking here as the chief guest of the awareness workshop organised by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), and Association for Industrial Development (AID). Ismail Salam, DGM, PFRDA, Dr Vijay Kumar Sharma, Secretary, AID, Dhaval Desai, HDFC Securities; Vaibhav Dwivedi, ICICI Pension Fund; and Mohit Sharma, SBI Pension Fund were also present.
