The Consumer Products Distributors Association (CPDA), Nagpur, successfully conducted its annual general meeting (AGM) and get-together event at Rajwada Palace, Ganeshpeth, with distributor members and their families participating in large numbers. The assembly focused on navigating the rapidly changing trade environment, emerging market obstacles, and the future of traditional retail.
Addressing the gathering, MCPDF Vice President Sunil Bhatia outlined how distribution challenges have evolved over time, emphasizing that businesses must adapt while maintaining collective unity.
Highlighting current industry threats, CPDA Nagpur President Samit Jain pointed to the intense pressure traditional distribution faces from quick-commerce and e-commerce platforms. He cited shifting consumer habits and aggressive online pricing as major hurdles, calling on distributors to stand united and act collectively to preserve and strengthen the trade sector.
