MIDC celebrates 64th Foundation Day with fanfare

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) celebrated its 64th Foundation Day on Saturday with great enthusiasm at Hotel Solitaire, Nagpur. The programme was graced by Anant Vitthal Raut, renowned writer, poet and orator, as the chief guest. Among the dignitaries present were Rajesh Zanzad, Chief Engineer, MIDC; Vitthal Rathod, Superintending Engineer; Manohar Pote, Regional Officer; Pravin Jakhotia, Joint Chief Accounts Officer; and Shrikant Irawar, Executive Engineer, along with MIDC officers, staff members and their families. In addition, P Mohan, President of the MIDC Industries Association (MIA); Julfesh Shah, Chairman, COSIA - Vidarbha; Kishore Malviya representing Butibori Manufacturers Association (BMA); and others were also present.
 
A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of MIDC employees who have rendered 25 years of dedicated service to the organisation. They were honoured with mementoes and certificates in recognition of their commitment and invaluable contribution to Maharashtra’s industrial development. Addressing the gathering, P Mohan, President of the MIDC Industries Association (MIA), congratulated the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation on completing 64 glorious years of dedicated service towards industrial development. He appreciated the relentless efforts of the entire MIDC team in creating robust industrial infrastructure, facilitating investments and supporting industries across Maharashtra. As a mark of appreciation and gratitude, the MIA presented a Special Appreciation Award to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation for its outstanding contribution towards the development of the industrial ecosystem, particularly its continuous support to industries and commitment to infrastructure development.
