The Ladies Study Group (LSG) hosted an engaging and thought-provoking fireside conversation with one of India’s most respected business leaders, Sangeeta Talwar, at Pablo in the city on Wednesday. The event was led by LSG President Sakshi Bhandari and Vice President Neeta Gupta, along with committee members Shruti Sharma, Reshmi Verma, Niharika Vali, Shradha Singhania, Pooja Doshi and Monica Bhagwagar, and attended by a vibrant gathering of women entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders.
Talwar’s illustrious career spans over four decades across leading Indian and global organisations. She began her journey with Nestlé India, where she was part of the pioneering team behind the launch of Maggi’s iconic “2-Minute” positioning. She later became India’s first woman National Sales Manager in the FMCG industry during the 1980s, before going on to lead Mattel India as CEO and Managing Director.
During the fireside chat, Talwar shared memorable insights that resonated deeply with the audience. Reflecting on entrepreneurship, she remarked that most entrepreneurial decisions are driven by emotion, while logic is often used later to justify them. Recalling her early days at Nestlé, she shared how she was the youngest voice in the room while working on Maggi’s iconic 2-Minute strategy, proving that transformative ideas can come from anyone. The interactive session concluded with engaging discussions on leadership, branding, resilience and purpose.
